로미오와 줄리엣 (Romeo & Juliet,1968)

프랑코 제피렐리 감독의 <로미오와 줄리엣>
당시 16세이던 레너드 화이팅과 15세이던 올리비아 핫세를 캐스팅 해 만든
<로미오와 줄리엣>은 개봉과 함께 전 세계적으로 화제에 올랐다.
특히 줄리엣 역의 올리비아 핫세는 특유의 청초한 이미지와 청순가련한 연기 덕에
일약 아이돌 스타로 급부상했다.
1968년 아카데미 영화제에서 촬영상과 음악상(니노 로타)을 수상한 화제작.

당시 국내에 이런 포스트가 붙여있었다 하더군요 ^^;

세잌스피어의 원작의 분위기를 가장 잘 살렸던 고전 영화입니다.

올리비아 핫세의 청순하고 어여쁜 이미지가 무엇보다도 돋보였던 영화

오리지날 사운드 트랙의 " A TIME FOR US" 의 멜로디는 아직도 귓가에 흐릅니다.

                       이런 여자를 누가 사랑하지 않을 수 있었겠어요...

이런 씬도 있었답니다. 하지만 핫세의 청순함에 이런 씬은 걍 묻혀버렸죠.

극중 original sound track중 하나인 글렌 웨스톤의 'What Is A Youth'는
아직도 구름따라의 로맨틱한 감정을 이끌어낸답니다. ^^
