I am no one special,
just a common man
with common thoughts.
I've led a common life.
There are no monuments
dedicated to me.
And my name
will soon be forgotten.
But in one respect,
I've succeeded as gloriously
as anyone who ever lived.
I've loved another
with all my heart
and soul and for me
that has always been enough.
The best love
is the kind that awakens the soul
and makes us reach for more,
that plants a fire
in our hearts
and brings peace
to our minds.
And that's what you've given me.
That's what I'd hoped
to give to you forever.
nothing is ever lost,
nor can be lost.
The body sluggish,
aged, cold,the embers left
from earlier fires.
shall duly flame again.
Nothing is ever really lost, or can be lost,
No birth, identity, form -- no object of the world.
Nor life, nor foce, nor any visible thing;
Appearance must not foil, nor shifted sphere confuse thy brain.
Ample are time and space -- ample the fields of Nature.
The body, sluggish, aged, cold -- the embers left fromearlier fires,
The light in the eye grown dim, shall duly flame again;
The sund now low in the west rises for mornings and for noons continual;
To frozen clods ever the spring's invisible law returns,
